PROJECT MANAGER / ENGINEER  (ACMV / ELECT)

Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Attend site meetings
  • Supervise the construction of works in accordance with the project plan 
  • Coordinate layout plan, detailed drawings and M&E plan and prepare time schedule 
  • Arrange submission of plans to local authorities for approval and arrange inspections of work to kick off projects 
  • Work closely with customers; coordinate with internal staff; manage sub-contractors; determine material type and quantities
  • Work closely with operations manager to manage project profit margin by carrying out price comparisons and managing operating costs 
  • Supervise, control and coordinate work according to the project plan to ensure timely completion and high quality work. 
  • Conduct frequent sites inspections and meetings to ensure high quality work by subcontractors and on time delivery of materials in accordance with schedule 
  • Enforce site safety procedures, identify and manage risks arising from the workplace or work process

Requirements: 

  • Degree /Diploma (or equivalent) in Mechanical / Electrical engineering 
  • Minimum 3 years experience in building services
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with keen attention to details
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of personal responsibility
  • Able to handle projects independently and communicate well 
  • Possesses contacts with Singapore-based consultants, suppliers & contractors – an added advantage
  • Possesses Singapore LEW license – an added advantage
